Learn Inheritance with Java: Models, Methods, Buses with Passengers, Abstract Classes.

Didaktische Zielsetzung
Didactic Objective
Competence focuses
- Creation and use of abstract base classes to structure class hierarchies
- Derivation of specialized classes for implementing inheritance relationships
- Modeling the classes Auto, Fahrrad, and Bus with common attributes and methods
- Integration of passenger objects into a Bus class as an example of object relationships
- Development and implementation of methods such as drive() and stop()
- Implementation of composition and n:m-relationships in the Online Shop model
- Modeling self-references and association classes in the context of social networks
Structure of modules
Vehicles and inheritance
This module introduces modeling abstract classes and their inheritance, and illustrates the implementation of object-oriented relationships using a vehicle model.
Online Shop modeling and implementation
This module deals with the modeling of complex class relationships such as composition and n:m-association at the example of an online shop system.
Modeling a social network
This module focuses on modeling self-references and association classes within a simplified social network.
Contents at a Glance
