Code Room Web Projects - HTML, CSS & JavaScript Live in the Browser
With the latest extension, Code Room brings a powerful feature into the project mode: native support for complete web projects. Users can now combine HTML, CSS, and JavaScript directly in the browser and view their results immediately live.
At its core is an integrated preview engine that automatically combines all project files. Stylesheets and scripts are intelligently recognized, loaded, and directly embedded into the page. This creates a fully executable website – completely without external dependencies or servers.
A special focus lies on working with realistic project structures. Code Room supports multiple files as well as nested folder structures and automatically resolves file paths correctly. This allows even more complex web projects to be organized and tested in an overview.
The preview occurs in real-time within the development environment. Changes to HTML, CSS, or JavaScript files become immediately visible, making a fast iterative workflow possible. In addition, users can navigate within their projects – links between HTML files work directly in the preview.
External content is also handled intelligently: links and embedded resources can be specifically displayed either within the preview or opened in the browser. At the same time, the environment prevents unnecessary external requests, making it particularly stable and suitable for use in closed learning environments.
Besides live preview, CodeRoom also offers an integrated display for generated files. Contents like HTML, PDF, images or JSON files can be viewed directly within the platform without additional tools.
The new web project function enables an especially simple entry into modern web development while also supporting advanced scenarios. From the first HTML page to multi-page web projects – everything runs directly in the browser.
