More possibilities in the classroom: The new project mode in CodeRoom
As of now, all schools have access to a powerful project mode in CodeRoom, which can be optionally activated for all content in the languages Python, Java, and Ruby. This makes it possible to implement more extensive projects with multiple source code files and complete folder structure directly in the browser-based environment - without installation, on all devices, including iPads.
Multiple files, folders, namespaces - directly in the editor
In project mode, you can:
- Create exercises with multiple files and subfolders,
- Represent complex structures with namespaces/packages,
- Import existing projects conveniently via ZIP upload.
This way, typical software architectures can be realistically modeled in the classroom - without technical hurdles for students or teachers.
KI-supported content generation with project intelligence
Unsere KI-Generatoren zur Erstellung eigener Übungsinhalte durch Schulen wurden ebenfalls erweitert. Die KI erkennt nun automatisch, ob eine Übung im einfachen Modus (eine Datei) oder im Projektmodus (mehrere Dateien, z.
